Every season has its benefits and joys, but summer alone allows, even demands, lazy days and late nights. While in the midst of my summer bliss I was more than a little unnerved to see school supplies being put out before the 4th of July, but August is here and school is in session which forces us back into the routines fall imposes. This issue of Wichita Falls Living reflects on a few of the many summer events that we all enjoyed around town. If your organization has an event coming up we would love to consider it for our Hometown Happenings section. Contact our Content Coordinator, Tabitha, for more information.
All of us at Wichita Falls Living are thrilled to feature Ann Arnold-Ogden (on our cover) this edition. She personifies the saying, ‘leave it better than you found it.’ Although she is not originally from Wichita Falls she has made it her home and continues to give back making Wichita Falls a better place! For those baseball lovers out there, you will be proud to know that Leland Wetzel, owner of Xylo Bats, has put Wichita Falls on the map in a major way.
