A new season is ahead and with that, I hope this issue finds you and yours delighting in the big and small joys of the seasonpumpkin & peppermint flavors abounding, holiday decor lining front porches & city streets, quality family time making memories, and so much more!
While we know everyone is still adjusting to the differences that this year has brought, I want to encourage you to take a look around and realize that this is not all that there is. Whether it be 2020 or 70 years from now, God has a plan for us all and the circumstances of today are part of a good plan and it is a plan that will give us hope & a prospering future. Let us pray for our cities and towns, those who lead & govern, and those who have worries bigger than our own. Pray for our country to heal in all the ways it’s needed. “Seek the peace and the prosperity of the city to which I have carried you. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” (Jeremiah 29:7)
And as always, we love it when you share with us so please submit your encouraging stories, lift up community members, teachers, and leaders and celebrate your hometown events with us. This issue features stories of school spirit, local leaders in medical, art and government fields, and adorable kids that will make you do a double-take!
We love & support our local community so keep them in mind when shopping for goodies & gifts this season! And to all of our wonderful advertisers, we want to thank you for making this publication possible!
Enjoy the little things surrounding us and be grateful for the here & now and cast all your worries on Him! Our hope is that each and every one of our beloved readers is able to find peace wherever you are this season. Peace on earth and goodwill toward man, may we all find joy in the twinkling lights, the cold weather that draws us nearer to one another, and the sounds of old traditions and new beginnings.
