Lubbock Lifestyles - Spring 2021

Lubbock Lifestyles

The beginning of summer is always bittersweet to me. It marks the end of another school year with goodbyes to teachers and friends. Sometimes it marks the end of a life season such as Senior and Pre-school mommas getting ready to let their baby birds fly.

We wish our featured Hometown Graduates the best of luck in their future endeavors and pray this prayer over all Lubbock grads: Father God, we pray for your wisdom and direction for our children as they make decisions. Teach them to know and listen to your voice. Please give them a heart to obey your Word and a desire to do what is right. Help them to grow and develop the gifts and talents you have placed in them to bring you glory. And finally God, give them understanding beyond their years and make clear the right path for the journey they are now on. AMEN.

This issue features some amazing stories including youth serving our community in great ways in From Blank Canvas to Masterpiece and Hometown Happening: Prom Queen Event. Get active with There’s No Place Like the Falls and Hard Work, Dedication, & Determination. Lastly, for the equine lovers, House Calls for Hooves, A Horse Trainer’s Dream, and Hometown Happening: Texas Tech NRSHA Champions. I hope you enjoy these pages as you soak up the summer sun. As always, we love to hear from you! If you have a story or an event to share, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .
