Winter is officially here and with it comes good food, fellowship with family and for me a few extra unwanted lbs! I trust that the Christmas season treated you well and that you’re looking forward to new beginnings with the New Year upon us! We have so much to be thankful for as God continues to bless us all. Without Him we truly have nothing.
I hope you will enjoy this issue of Midland Living Magazine as much as we have enjoyed putting it together. In this edition read about Abbye Irons and her brave struggle through a heart transplant and about the Tuckers who like many natives have moved back to Midland to raise their family. Doc and Gayle Dodson have a long standing reputation in Midland and I think Gayle said it best, “Everybody is just like family here in Midland!”
These are just a few of the many locals whose stories have captivated us this issue. As a country, state, and community we are blessed and have much to be thankful for. “…From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.” Luke 12:48
